Mission Statement

A Safe Place to Discover, Grow & Renew through Community & Creativity.

History

Ellie’s Retreat House located at 852 N Columbia St, Frankfort, IN, is the dream of its founder, Eleanor Pershing. She was able to purchase the Trinity United Methodist parsonage in 2016, which she and her husband, Don, remodeled. She shared her dream with like-minded friends, Jo Ellen Ogle, Barbara Kinsler, Jo Honig, Jan Mason, Karen Altergott Roberts and Ayo Lincoln, who composed the first Board of Directors. This board developed the mission statement and sought non-profit status.
